MADE BY MARTHA

I started Made By Martha so women, like myself, have an option to purchase water sport wear that not only makes us feel fantastic, but also has optimal movement and functionality at the heart of the design. 

I believe that flexibility equals greater performance as it allows you to perform to your best ability. By pattern cutting and designing each look by hand,  every piece is unique to MBM. Months of development and research back my products therefore always improving with time. 

As woman in the water sport world, I still face challenges on a daily basis. I believe that If I head out feeling bad ass I have the confidence to perform better. I couldn't find the products I needed on the market so I thought, screw it, ill make my own.  

Made By Martha is still produced at home whilst I finish off my fashion degree at Arts University Bournemouth. I hope to expand to a small studio once I graduate. Myself and a very small team produce each garment by hand at home. Our prices reflect the time, love and skill needed to produce these products. Of course the labour is Ethical as everyone producing garments gets paid an hourly UK living wage.
